During the healing period, your gums and bone will re-contour to a smaller size, as the tooth sockets fill in. Temporary linings or tissue conditioners will be required.
At the completion of the healing period which is approximately 8-12 months post the initial immediate denture placement, a permanent reline or a new denture may be fabricated to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit.

The fabrication of your immediate dentures involves taking impressions of your mouth while your natural teeth are still present. We are then able to use those impressions to form dental stone models of your teeth and gums to fabricate your new denture.
