When dental implants are placed in the mouth by the dentist, it usually requires two or more implants to stabilize the denture. The denture is then made and fastened securely to these implants, in our clinic. The result is a highly stabilized denture that works as it was intended, giving an end to pain and discomfort, but leading to improved speech, improved health and all-round confidence.

Abe’s Suction Denture technique has been in Japan and the South Pacific dental community since 1999 and is new to Canada since 2016.

We are excited to bring this technology to Brantford and surrounding areas.

This highly successful technique eliminates the problem of the lower denture lifting and collecting food underneath by creating a continuous seal at the entire border of the denture base through a suction mechanism.

A partial denture also serves a very important role in protecting and supporting remaining natural teeth from drifting into adjacent or opposing arches and causing further dental issues.

Partial dentures can be made using a high-quality metal cast-frame and acrylic or completely out of acrylic. They may be completely tooth supported or held by precision attachments.
